Purpose and Request:
recommended action
The purpose of this report is to request that the Board adopt a resolution to approve the conveyance by quitclaim deed to Jason R. Eisenberg, Alyssa F. Eisenberg, Thomas F. Kreutz, and Cynthia A. Mansfield, of the County's interest in Drainage Easement, previously recorded at Reception #R3110467, and the Board to execute the quitclaim deed on behalf of the County.

Background and Discussion: The existing drainage easement is located on Lots 1 and 2 of Vintage East Filing No. 1, located in the Southwest Quarter of Section 23, Township 5 South, Range 67 West of the Sixth Principal Meridian, County of Arapahoe, State of Colorado and is related to the development known as Vintage East Filing No. 1 (Arapahoe County Case No. P91-021).

The easement was dedicated to Arapahoe County by separate document in 1989 for a storm sewer outfall in accordance with The Heron Court Subdivision Storm Sewer Construction Plan and Profile and Storm Sewer details. When Vintage East Subdivision No. 1 plat was submitted to the County for approval, a new storm sewer system was proposed and this section of pipe was no longer needed and subsequently removed. Per the plat, the drainage easement was to be vacated, but this process was never completed. The current lot owners are requesting the vacation of the easement.
