Purpose and Request:

The Director of Information Technology and the Chief Information Security Officer respectfully request the Board of County Commissioners approve the Intergovernmental Agreement authorizing Arapahoe County's participation in the Arapahoe County Cybersecurity Consortium, and authorize Phil Savino to execute the IGA and any related agreements on behalf of the County.

Background and Discussion: The Board approved adding this item to the consent agenda at their June 29, 2026, meeting. The Arapahoe County Cybersecurity Consortium Intergovernmental Agreement establishes a collaborative framework for participating governmental and quasi-governmental partners to share cybersecurity information, coordinate incident response efforts, support regional planning and exercises, and strengthen cybersecurity resilience throughout Arapahoe County. The Consortium will promote greater coordination among participating organizations, improve situational awareness of emerging cyber threats, and enhance the region's collective ability to prepare for, respond to, and recover from cybersecurity incidents. The Director of Information Technology and the Chief Information Security Officer respectfully request that the Board of County Commissioners approve the Intergovernmental Agreement, authorize Arapahoe County's participation in the Arapahoe County Cybersecurity Consortium, and authorize Phil Savino to execute the IGA and any related agreements on behalf of the County.
