Purpose and Request:

The purpose of this request is to obtain authorization for the Chair of the BOCC to sign the
Separation and Release Agreement for RaShaunn El-Amin pursuant to the terms of the agreement contained therein.end
Alignment with Strategic Plan: Economic Resilience and Stability - Support long-term economic resilience through responsible fiscal and investment strategies.
Background and Discussion: The Agreement relates to the elimination of the temporary grant funded support staff due to lack of funding, effective March 14, 2026, a review of which was previously provided to the Board in an executive session. This agreement was the result of a negotiated agreement.
Alternatives: None.
Fiscal Impact: According to the Agreement, RaShaunn El-Amin will receive a severance payment equal to 1 week’s gross salary. The fiscal impact will not be significant.
