Purpose and Request:

The purpose of this report is to request the Board accept the Right of Way and Permanent Easements from Saddle Rock Ridge Homeowners Association in accordance with the agreements established between Arapahoe County and Saddle Rock Ridge Homeowners Association.
Staff has reviewed the construction plans and required Right-of-Way Area and Permanent Easements and determined they will meet the requirements of the Project. Staff recommends that the Right of Way and Permanent Easements procured from Saddle Rock Ridge Homeowners Association be accepted by the Board.
Actions Requested:
1. Approve and accept the conveyance of the Right of Way and Permanent Easement for the Tempe Roundabout Project by the Board of County Commissions.
2. Authorization for Bryan Weimer, Director, Department of Public Works and Development for signature and execution of the Permanent Easement on behalf of the Board of County Commissioners.

Background and Discussion: The Project is located in Section 12, Township 5 South, Range 67 West of the 6th Principal Meridian, and is located in the Copperleaf Development located in the central portion of Arapahoe County. The Project is to retrofit an abnormal passage of Tempe Street where roadway geometry has a near-90 degree turn. This layout was approved and constructed in the Fall of 2006 / Spring of 2007 to facilitate future filings within the Copperleaf Development.
