Adoption of a resolution to approve the application for a renewal of the local Retail Marijuana Store License filed by GM 2280, LLC d/b/a Golden Meds located at 2280 S. Quebec Street, Unit G, Denver, CO 80231, pursuant to the Arapahoe County Commercial Marijuana Store Licensing Policy (the "Policy"), to be valid from November 17, 2023 through November 16, 2024, and authorizing the Chair of the Board of County Commissioners to sign the local license. The Department of Revenue requires the local jurisdiction to grant a renewal license prior to the State of Colorado issuing its renewed State Retail Marijuana Store License.

Background and Discussion:
On December 8, 2020, pursuant to the Policy, the BOCC approved and issued a Retail Marijuana Store License for GM 2280, LLC d/b/a Golden Meds. The license was previously renewed annually with the most recent renewal on November 8, 2022, with an expiration date of November 16, 2023.
On November 6, 2023, pursuant to the Policy, GM 2280, LLC d/b/a Golden Meds filed with the County an application for a renewal of the Retail Marijuana Store License for the premises located at 2280 S. Quebec Street, Unit G, Denver, CO 80231.
Prior to submission of this application, as provided in the Policy, GM 2280, LLC d/b/a Golden Meds also applied to the State of Colorado, Department of Revenue, for a renewal of the Retail Marijuana Store License to operate a Retail marijuana store at the address.
The County received and reviewed the State application for a renewal of the Retail Marijuana Store License filed by GM 2280, LLC d/b/a Golden Meds for the premises located at 2280 S. Quebec Street, Unit G, Denver, CO 80231.
