Alignment with Strategic Plan: Good Governance - Deliver mandated and essential services with excellence.

Background and Discussion: Bryan Weimer, Public Works and Development (PWD) Director, will retire from his position with Arapahoe County on March 13, 2026.  During the recruitment process for the County’s next PWD Director, the County will need an individual to assume responsibility for the functions of the PWD Director. The BoCC has identified Ceila Rethamel, Engineering Services Division Manager as that individual, to be effective March 13, 2026. Ms. Rethamel, in consultation with the interim manager of Public Works and Development and appropriate department directors, shall be responsible for approving delegated administrative matters and shall have the delegated signature authority authorized in Resolution No. 26-056.
