This business meeting is being held to formally approve the funding recommendations for Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and HOME Investment Partnership Program (HOME) projects for 2025 grant year funding, and HOME Investment Partnership - American Rescue Plan (HOME-ARP) allocations, as well as authorize the submission of the 2025-2029 Consolidated Plan, including the 2025 Annual Action Plan to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) for their review and approval. The Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) reviewed the 2025-2029 Consolidated Plan, including the 2025 Annual Action Plan and HOME-ARP allocations, presented by Community Development Housing and Homeless Services (CDHHS) staff, during a study session on June 17, 2025, and instructed staff to schedule the item(s) for consent agenda during a business meeting.

Background and Discussion: Arapahoe County is in the process of developing the 2025-2029 Consolidated Plan and the 2025 Annual Action Plan. These plans aim to address housing, homelessness, special needs, and other community development priorities. The development process includes public hearings, focus groups, surveys, and interviews to ensure that the plans reflect the needs and aspirations of residents across the county.
