The Board of County Commissioners is requested to adopt a resolution to select the Chair for the Arapahoe County Board of Commissioners for 2026.

Background and Discussion: On an annual basis, the Board of County Commissioners selects three individuals from its members to serve as the Chair of the Board, the Chair Pro Tem and Finance Officer. These appointments occur at the first business meeting of the board each year. Each officer position has a distinct role as defined in the Commissioner Handbook.
Alternatives: The Board may decide to postpone this decision.
