This resolution changes the signature authority for the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office, replacing the corresponding section in Resolution 24-077.
Background and Discussion: For a number of years, the Board of County Commissioners has adopted an annual resolution delegating authority to sign contracts and other documents, and to take certain actions, to department directors, other officials and employees. This resolution updates the sheriff’s office signature authority, superseding the corresponding section in Resolution 24-077. These changes will require the sheriff’s office to submit certain documents to the Board’s consent agenda for approval and signature.
Alternatives: The Board could decide not to implement these amendments.
