The purpose of this study session is to provide an update on federal advocacy activities to the Board of County Commissioners and discuss details for the Board’s upcoming advocacy trip to Washington D.C.

Background and Discussion: As part of its annual adoption of legislative principles for the forthcoming year, Arapahoe County established several federal priorities in November 2025. The County’s federal lobbyist, Holland & Knight, will advocate for the agency’s federal legislative principles in 2026. On a monthly basis, Holland & Knight will provide an update on federal activities, status on advocacy efforts to date, and next steps.
