The Board of County Commissioners is requested to adopt a proclamation declaring April 6-12, 2026, as National Public Health Week.

Background and Discussion: In late 2022, the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) approved a process to issue proclamations that meet the following criteria:
• Highlight items of importance related to Arapahoe County services, employee recognition or the County’s strategic plan;
• Promote an issue that impacts a broad range of Arapahoe County residents or employees;
• Made by an Arapahoe County resident, employee or elected official.
The attached proclamation met the above requirements and were determined eligible for approval by the Board of County Commissioners.
