Purpose and Request:

The purpose of this study session is to provide the Board with an annual update from their economic development partner, East Colorado Small Business Development Center.

Alignment with Strategic Plan: Economic Resilience and Stability - Increase job opportunities and business development initiatives to sustain a strong local economy.                        

 

Background and Discussion: Each year, economic development partners that receive funding from the County provide an annual update that provides the Board with important information regarding their impact and needs.  

Similar to past years, partners were asked to provide information on the following items (as they are able in the time provided):

•                     Organizational Metrics

•                     Arapahoe County Impact

•                     Arapahoe County Collaboration

•                     Successes and Challenges

•                     Upcoming Events/Activities/Initiatives in Arapahoe County

•                     Future Priorities
