2025 Agreement for Dispatch Services for Columbine Valley

Purpose and Request:
recommended action
Request the Board of County Commissioners to approve and authorize the Chair to sign the Agreement for Dispatch Services with the Columbine Valley.

Background and Discussion: Columbine Valley contacted the Sheriff’s Office to request that our Dispatch Center take over the dispatching services for the city. Columbine Valley agreed to terms of an agreement which has been reviewed and approved by County Attorneys.
Alternatives: If the Board declines this agreement, Columbine Valley will have to initiate a search for another form of dispatch services. In addition, the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office would not receive the contract funds the Agreement provides.
Fiscal Impact: The Agreement for Dispatch Services will generate $40,075.71 in revenue for the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office.
