Background and Discussion: The retirement of the public works & development director - coupled with the breadth of department responsibilities - led the county to secure additional technical and operational expertise to provide day-to-day oversight and support on an interim basis. AtkinsRéalis has experience providing similar type of services for local governments, and a recognized regional leader - Carrie DeJiacomo - with capacity to provide these services.

Fiscal Impact: The contract amount would not exceed $140,000.
