Purpose and Request:
recommended action
The purpose of this report is to request the Board adopt a resolution to approve the Uniform Easement Deed and Revocable Storm Drainage License Agreement and authorize the Chair of the Board of County Commissioners to execute the Agreement on behalf of the County. The Agreement has two functions. First, it conveys drainage easements to the County. Second, it grants the applicant a license to discharge stormwater into the County stormwater system. This is in conformance to development within the County's MS4 Boundary and part of the Stormwater Management Manual criteria that projects have to fulfill before being granted approval.
Staff has reviewed the Uniform Easement Deed and Revocable Storm Drainage License Agreement and the drainage easements and has determined that it meets the County's requirements. Staff recommends that the Agreement be approved and easements accepted.
Actions Requested:
1. Approval of the Uniform Easement Deed and Revocable Storm Drainage License Agreement at Northwest Quarter of Section 36, Township 5 South, Range 67 West of the Sixth Meridian, County of Arapahoe, thereby accepting an easement and granting a storm drainage license.
2. Authorize the Chair of the Board of County Commissioners to execute the agreement on behalf of the Board.
