Planning Division requests the Board of County Commissioner’s adopt a resolution to rescind and void the approval in Case No. USR20-003. The applicant requested withdrawal of the case and does not wish to proceed with the project.

Background and Discussion: USR20-003, a Use by Special Review for Joy Deliverance Holy Tabernacle Church, was approved by the Board of County Commissioners on June 22, 2021 by Resolution No. 21-219. The applicant has not submitted a mylar for signature as required under Section 5-3.4(C)(5) of the Land Development Code. Instead, by letter dated August 3, 2021, the applicant for USR20-003 requested to withdraw the application and that the approval be rescinded. Planning Division Staff recommends that the approval in USR20-003 be rescinded and voided in accordance with the applicant’s request.
Alternatives: There is no practical alternative as it is not feasible or desirable to leave an unused USR approval in place for this property.
