The purpose of this presentation is to provide information about Community Health Assessment findings as part of a three-part series of data overviews.

Background and Discussion: Colorado statue requires that public health agencies conduct an assessment and planning process that results in the creation of a comprehensive community health assessment and a new community health improvement plan every five years. In response, 21 staff from across ACPH have contributed to the creation of an Arapahoe County Community Health Assessment. This month, report highlights will be presented on the topics of safety, education, economic security, and access to physical and behavioral health care.
Fiscal Impact: No immediate, direct fiscal impact. Findings from the Community Health Assessment will inform the selection of 5-year priority areas during Quarter 1 of 2024. Staff and Board of Health members can anticipate the need to identify resources to plan, coordinate and track initiatives to impact the resulting priorities.
