?The purpose of this presentation is to provide information and respond to questions related to the 2024 Arapahoe County Community Health Assessment.

Background and Discussion: Colorado statue requires that public health agencies conduct an assessment and planning process that results in the creation of a comprehensive community health assessment and a new community health improvement plan every five years. In response, staff from across ACPH contributed to the creation of an Arapahoe County Community Health Assessment. While the full report explores over two dozen health-influencing topics, this presentation will highlight findings related to six topics that emerged as among the most critical to consider for inclusion in the upcoming 2024 Community Health Improvement Plan. These include safety, environment, housing, food security, economic security, and access to physical and behavioral health care.??

Fiscal Impact: No immediate, direct fiscal impact. Findings from the Community Health Assessment will inform the selection of 5-year priority areas and creation of the 2024-2029 Arapahoe County Community Health Improvement Plan later this year.
